Even a sentence helps. Mention the type of work, the area you're in, and the team member if you remember.

Post-job reminder templates
Send one of these to every customer within 48 hours of completing a job. Personalise the name, job type, and town — then hit send.
Timing is everything. Reviews requested within 24 hours of a job are 3× more likely to be left than those asked for a week later. Make it part of the job sign-off routine.
WhatsApp has the highest open rate. Send while the job is still fresh — ideally the same evening or next morning.

Pro tip: Ask verbally on-site first — "Would you mind leaving us a Google review?" — then follow up with the message. A verbal heads-up doubles the conversion rate.
Past customer re-engagement
You've done dozens of jobs. Most of those customers would happily leave a review — they just need asking. Use these three email templates to reach out to past customers who haven't reviewed you yet.
Re-engagement strategy
Work backwards through your job history. Start with the most recent (last 3 months), then go back 6 months, then 12 months. Personalise every message with the customer's name and job type — generic messages get ignored.
One message per customer. Don't send more than one follow-up to the same person. If they haven't responded after the "Final nudge", leave it — pushing too hard damages the relationship.
